Very good info in there, much appreciated.
I've screwed my XTi trying to clean the sensor, it ended up worse than before.
This article helped a lot, and now I have a clean sensor.
It took me three clean sessions, but eventually I've got it done.

I edit the Info.datx file but still not working for me. OSX 10.11.6 when I click on the EU2.14.0X_updater it says "UniversalInstaller quit unexpectedly" No chance to go further.

Tom, upon further review, my copy/paste operation from your site into notepad didn't go cleanly. Line feeds/word wrap/carriage returns, or whatever. So the keys were not created correctly until I got each key on its own line in the script. Apologies.
